Farmer's Friend Salve is great for severely dry skin and can be applied all over the body as a moisturizer. We love it for rough calloused hands, the soles of our feet, and dry itchy skin that needs a little attention.

We start with pure olive oil and infuse it with propolis and mullein. Propolis is a sticky resin collected by our honeybees, used to keep the hive free from bacteria and unwanted pests. The bees gather the propolis and seal any open hole or crack in the hive. We then scrape the propolis from the hive and infuse it in olive oil over several months, straining it out and using it in this herbal salve. Together with olive oil infused with the herb mullein, it creates a salve that can be used on the skin to promote healing. We finish it by adding just a touch of Lemon and Orange essential oil, for an uplifting, invigorating scent.

Each tin contains 1 oz of salve.
